Profile
Unique design:
In the realm of design and iconography, we deliberately gravitated towards a palette of softer, environmentally-inspired colors. This deliberate selection wasn't just an aesthetic preference; it was a strategic move to underscore our strong commitment to environmental consciousness. By weaving these gentle hues into our visual identity, we sought to harmoniously merge aesthetics with our core values, emphasizing sustainability and our dedication to a more eco-friendly tomorrow.
Login & Sign up functionality:
Account functionality stands as a cornerstone in nearly all applications, and we meticulously incorporated it into our system using a combination of JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. JavaScript enabled us to create dynamic and highly responsive user interfaces, enhancing user engagement. PHP facilitated secure and efficient server-side operations, while the integration of MySQL bolstered our data management capabilities, ensuring the seamless storage and retrieval of user information.
Transaction system:
Our achievement lies in the seamless integration of a payment and transaction feature within our application, with the sole exception being the absence of a designated payment provider. Users can effortlessly navigate our platform to discover products, thoroughly assess their choices, reserve preferred quantities and time slots, and initiate purchases. These transactions, upon authorization by an external payment provider, are seamlessly recorded in our database within a transactions JSON, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience.
Dev stack & explaination:
The primary objective of the project was to leverage our collective knowledge to create a comprehensive full-stack solution, incorporating a robust backend powered by MySQL and PHP, alongside the dynamic Single Page Application (SPA) functionality achieved through JavaScript; furthermore, our ambition extended beyond the ordinary as we sought to explore new horizons and acquire expertise in emerging technologies, leading us to expand our foundational development stack by integrating Sass, Tailwind, and Gulp into our toolkit, recognizing that these additions would not only enhance our current project but also serve as valuable stepping stones for diving into component-based UI frameworks such as React.
